The arcade Orlando grew up on

Mystery Fun House ran on Major Boulevard from 1976 to 2001, full of mirror mazes and the kind of weird that sticks with a kid for life. Westgate brought it back in 2025 as part of a nearly 120 million dollar overhaul of its Kissimmee resort, this time as a 21,000 square foot arcade powered by Chuck E. Cheese, with over 100 games, neon bowling, sports simulators, a mirror maze, and a food hall.

The website was the front door for all of it, and it had to be live for the public grand opening that August. It also had to pull off a few things at once that usually work against each other.

Two brand guides, neither watered down

The site answered to two brand teams. Westgate owns the venue. Chuck E. Cheese powers the games and shows up across the floor in Chuck’s Arcade and the kids Fun Zone. Both came with their own rules for color, logos, and tone.

We gave Mystery Fun House its own neon identity first, then sat each partner brand cleanly inside it. Chuck E. Cheese reads as Chuck E. Cheese, the Westgate tie stays clear, and the Fun House still feels like its own place instead of a mashup of two logos.

Make it loud. Then make it run on a five year old phone.

The site moves constantly. The Wizard animates, shapes drift, neon flickers, and there is even sound. That motion is the brand, so cutting it was never the plan. The trouble is that sites this animated usually turn heavy and lag, and they lag worst on phones, which is where most families pull it up.

So we built the motion to stay light. Compressed artwork, effects that wake up only as you scroll to them instead of firing all at once, and testing on real phones rather than a designer’s fast laptop. All the personality, none of the stutter.

The Wizard runs the place

The arcade has a mascot, a wizard who, as the story goes, built the whole world. Westgate leaned into him on the floor, so we leaned into him online.

He greets you at the top of the page, the writing plays along, and the site reads like a place with a story instead of a list of attractions.

The site keeps itself up to date

The venue is free to walk into. The Play Pass is what people buy to play, and the food hall runs all day, so tickets and menus are the two things that change most and cost the most when they go stale.

We wired ticketing into FareHarbor, so buying a Play Pass runs through a real booking system. Menus and hours run through Yext, so the team updates them in one place and the site follows on its own. No emails to us to swap a price.

What we shipped

The site went live ahead of the August 2025 grand opening and is the attraction’s home online today.

Got a brand that should be a lot more fun online.

That is our kind of project. We build custom sites with real motion and real wiring behind them, not templates with the logo swapped.
